Young and beautiful Clara Barron (Karla Souza) seems to have it all - a great job, a beautiful house in Los Angeles and a Mexican family that loves to have fun. The only thing Barron hasn't figured out is her love life. Pressured to go to a wedding in Mexico, she asks a co-worker to pose as her boyfriend for the weekend festivities. Caught off guard when her ex shows up to the ceremony, Clara must now choose between her former beau or the possibility of a new and exciting romance.

GlobalGirl Media (GGM), a nonprofit organization that trains girls and young women from underserved communities in media literacy, storytelling, journalism and media production is looking for 25 -30 candidates for the 2017 Summer Training Program in the Bay Area. Repeating last year's successful, intensive training, GGM will host a class of girls and young women, ages 16 - 22, at facilities provided by the Mexican Consulate General in San Francisco. The 4-week summer session runs from Monday June 26th - Friday to July 21st, 10am - 4pm weekdays. In additional to the training, each student will
receive a small stipend, lunch and transportation.
After graduating, students will be eligible to join the GGM community to report on stories for girls and young women around the world. GGM graduates will also help edit, distribute and amplify GGM work across all media platforms.
Interested candidates must be between 16-22 years old. Some prior media experience is a plus, but not required. GGM is looking for girls and young women with a passion for media, production and storytelling - and a keen interest in learning how to better use social media tools to express themselves.
